Theme: The Foundation of the Christian Faith
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Please see attached the next study in this quarter’s series: The Foundation of the Christian Faith. The topic is “You must be born again”, the main text being John 3:1-18. The key learning points are as follows:
- The only way to eternal life is by being born again or born from above. It is a must if one will have an eternity with God.
- The first Adam sinned and got separated from the life of God. We inherited the sin of nature from the first Adam. This is why we cannot enter eternity with God by our own works.
- Jesus the second Adam came and died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin. As many as place their faith in Jesus are born again (born from above). To be born again is to be born by the Spirit, through faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
